DOC DASH 2026 Summer Workshops | Lift For Life Gym | Executive Director René Knott
What happens when education, community leadership, and public safety come together with a shared purpose?
This highlight reel captures the energy, collaboration, and impact of the 2026 DOC DASH Summer Workshops hosted at the Lift For Life Gym in St. Louis, Missouri.
The workshops were presented by DOC DASH and administered through OTEKA Solutions, Inc., a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing innovative public safety education and community engagement. Together, DOC DASH and OTEKA Solutions are equipping young drivers with practical communication skills that promote safer interactions with law enforcement and emergency responders.
The 2026 Summer Workshop Series is proudly sponsored by the Elizabeth Ann Morgan IRA Trust, whose generous support is expanding access to life-saving public safety education for youth throughout our communities.
Hosted in partnership with Executive Director René Knott, Interim Director Suzy Oge, Engagement and Mentor Manager Amiran Millard, and the Lift For Life Gym team, participants engaged in the DOC DASH: Protocols to Police Engagement curriculum—a patented public safety education program that prepares young people for real-world traffic stops, roadside emergencies, and interactions with law enforcement and emergency responders.
During the workshop, participants learned how to:
- Communicate safely and confidently during traffic stops
- Understand driver responsibilities and legal obligations
- Reduce misunderstandings and unnecessary escalation
- Organize and safely present driver’s license, vehicle registration, and proof of insurance
- Prepare for roadside emergencies before they happen
- Build confidence through preparedness, communication, and situational awareness
DOC DASH is a patented communication system and standardized safety education program designed to improve communication between drivers, law enforcement officers, and emergency medical personnel while promoting safer outcomes for everyone.
Special thanks to Executive Director René Knott, Interim Director Suzy Oge, Engagement and Mentor Manager Amiran Millard, and the entire Lift For Life Gym team for their leadership, partnership, and commitment to empowering young people through education. We also extend our sincere appreciation to our instructors, community partners, volunteers, and every participant who helped make these workshops a success.
Together, we are standardizing safety, strengthening communication, and building trust—one workshop, one driver, and one community at a time.
