Built for My Future

With special speaker Dr. Angelia Bills, the teenagers, ages 13+, participate in a bi-weekly workshop series, allowing them to prepare for their futures through self-discovery and career exploration.

HER Inner Lift

The youth girls collaborate with special guest speaker Queen Mocha Latte, who guides them through self-discovery activities that encourage them to shine from the inside out.

Central Library Tour

To kick off Summer Programming at the Gym, the Youth will take a tour of Central Library to learn the history of the building and understand the programs they could potentially participate in when they take their weekly trips this summer.

Field Day at Brentwood Park

A recreational day outside to allow the youth to have a field day and picnic at a park that provides different activities for them, such as a field for sports, trails, a splash pad, and a water area (no pools), and more.

HER Inner Lift

Every Wednesday, Sharee “Queen Mocha Latte” Galvin facilitates sessions for girls focused on social-emotional learning, self-esteem, healthy boundaries, sisterhood, and goal setting. Each session includes interactive activities, group discussions, and personal reflection exercises designed to build confidence and emotional awareness.

Weekly Central Library Trip

The Youth will benefit from experiencing the resources the library offers to assist in their reading & literacy skills and give them access to tools to help them be creative and assist with any summer projects for school and the entrepreneur workshop.

Art for Your Life!

Every Monday, local artist and entrepreneur Victoria Wreen engages youth in creative expression through multiple art mediums. Sessions emphasize confidence-building, creative problem-solving, and the development of a growth mindset.

The Gents

 Every Tuesday, successful businessman Ron Bradley leads small group mentor sessions with male youth on topics including Black history, career exploration, emotional regulation, and character development. Sessions encourage self-reflection, accountability, and problem-solving skills.
