Our Powerlifting team battles some of Missouri’s best lifters in hopes to qualify for Nationals! Come out and support our lifters!

Continuing with the theme of self-control and how to manage our triggers, the youth will participate in different activities that will allow them to demonstrate their self-control when they become flustered, distracted, or even when they lose. These activities will also test their camaraderie and sportsmanship with their peers.

The Youth will complete a weekly check-in by recalling any triggering incidents that arose throughout the week. We will discuss some tools they can use to help them regulate strong emotions. They will then map out their triggers and compose an action plan for the next time they feel triggered.
